The company is seeking a Senior iOS/Android Developer with German language skills to build and maintain mobile applications in Zürich, Switzerland. This hybrid role requires strong native development expertise and collaboration within a cross-functional team.
You will join a cross-functional digital product team focused on building and maintaining customer-facing mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. The position involves close collaboration with UX designers, backend engineers, and product owners to deliver seamless, high-quality user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain frontend features for iOS and Android mobile applications.
- Implement and extend multilingual user interfaces using internationalisation frameworks and localisation best practices.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, accessible components.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
- Optimise application performance across devices and screen sizes, with a focus on Swiss banking security standards.
- Contribute to the shared component library and design system used across all Raiffeisen digital products.
- Work in an agile team using Scrum/Kanban, participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
- Coordinate with backend teams to design and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Monitor, debug, and resolve issues in production, ensuring high availability and user satisfaction.
- Stay up to date with emerging frontend technologies and champion best practices within the team.
Requirements
- Several years of experience (≥5 years) in native mobile development (Android and/or iOS).
- Excellent knowledge of Kotlin (Android) and/or Swift (iOS).
- Solid experience with Jetpack Compose and/or SwiftUI.
- Experience with modern concurrency concepts (coroutines/flow, async/await, combine).
- Sound knowledge of mobile architectures (clean architecture, MVVM, MVI).
- Experience in connecting backend services and API integration.
- Knowledge of testing (unit and UI tests) and quality assurance.
- Experience with build tools and dependency management (Gradle, Swift Package Manager).
- Understanding of security and performance aspects in mobile apps.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and app deployment (App Store / Play Store).
Nice to have
- Experience in regulated industries, particularly financial services or banking.
- Familiarity with Swift/SwiftUI or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose for native development.
- Knowledge of micro-frontend architectures.
- Experience with security-conscious development (OWASP, certificate pinning, biometric auth).
