Senior Manager - Finance Transformation

KPMG AG in Zürich seeks a Senior Manager for Finance Transformation to lead client engagements, redesign finance operating models, and drive digital process improvements.

This position sits within KPMG Management Consulting and focuses on expanding the client base and service offerings. The team assists organizations in redefining their finance operations by creating tailored operating models that leverage leading process standards and digital tools. Consultants work hands-on to deliver sustainable results through pragmatic transformation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage finance transformation projects, including the redesign of target operating models and technology landscapes.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance finance processes, systems, and organizational structures.
• Advise clients on optimizing shared service centers, outsourcing contracts, decentralized units, and finance business partner roles.
• Review existing finance technology stacks and recommend market-leading digital solutions.
• Manage cross-functional projects within broader transformation programs and contribute to business development proposals.
• Build and maintain relationships with finance executives while identifying new market opportunities.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in finance projects within a consulting environment.
• Strong grasp of finance reorganizations, including KPI benchmarking, business case development, target operating models, process optimization, and technology implementation.
• Familiarity with systems such as SAP, Microsoft, and Workiva, along with knowledge of digital and AI solutions in the finance space.
• Demonstrated track record in business development.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication abilities for engaging with CFOs and finance leadership.
• Fluent written and verbal English skills.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in German is highly valued.
• Knowledge of French is considered an asset.
