IQVIA AG seeks a Senior Software Engineer for iOS to design and maintain scalable mobile applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and modern architectural patterns.
The company is looking for a senior engineer to lead the creation of high-quality iOS apps that enhance user experience. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support a broader ecosystem of web and mobile platforms while providing technical leadership on architectural decisions with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Create and sustain native iOS apps using Swift and current Apple frameworks.
- Construct reusable components and scalable architectures to facilitate long-term product expansion.
- Apply MVVM, Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and standard design patterns to build solutions.
- Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance interfaces using SwiftUI and UIKit.
- Work with Product, UX, Backend, Android, and Engineering groups to define and launch new features.
- Connect mobile apps with REST APIs, backend services, and authentication systems.
- Implement secure access controls, including JWT, SSO, OTP, and biometric methods.
- Enhance app performance, memory usage, reliability, and overall user satisfaction.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and UI tests to guarantee stability and quality.
- Diagnose and fix complex issues within mobile applications.
- Guide medium-complexity technical projects and offer direction to team members.
- Assist in onboarding and mentoring junior developers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- At least five years of experience in iOS application development.
- Proficient in Swift and the iOS SDK.
- Skilled in using SwiftUI and UIKit for modern app development.
- Deep understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and iOS design patterns.
- Familiarity with Swift Concurrency, Combine, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience in designing and maintaining reusable networking and service layers.
- Proven ability to integrate REST APIs and backend services.
- Knowledge of implementing authentication and authorization via JWT, OAuth, SSO, OTP, or biometrics.
- Competence in dependency injection and modular architecture.
- Strong skills in testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Git and modern version control workflows.
- Understanding of the mobile app lifecycle, release management, and App Store deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.
Nice to have
- Experience with Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Push Notifications, and Performance Monitoring.
- Familiarity with Apple HealthKit, Apple Watch, or other health and wearable technologies.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated mobile deployments.
- Experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Blob Storage integrations.
- Understanding of mobile security, observability, and application performance monitoring practices.
- Experience implementing reusable UI component libraries or design systems.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools.
- Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence across teams.
