The company seeks a Senior Software Tester with fluent German and English for a hybrid role in St Gallen. The position focuses on manual and automated testing for E-Banking platforms, aligning with the client's Strategy 2030 vision.
This position is embedded within a team dedicated to developing the next generation of E-Banking experiences for thousands of users. The role directly supports the client's ambitious Strategy 2030 vision, offering significant ownership and influence through hands-on testing, automation, and direct impact on the final product.
Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into effective, testable scenarios
- Create and maintain both manual and automated test cases
- Implement test strategies using contemporary tools and industry best practices
- Conduct end-to-end UI and API testing, including automated and exploratory methods
- Detect, analyze, and monitor defects to ensure high product quality
- Work closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven experience in software testing, covering both manual and automated approaches for web and mobile platforms
- Practical knowledge of test automation frameworks, such as Selenium
- Strong coding proficiency in Java or C#, along with solid SQL skills
- Experience collaborating within agile teams
- A clear understanding of how modern web and mobile applications function
- Excellent communication abilities
- Fluency in both German and English
Nice to have
- ISTQB certification
- Experience with end-to-end testing in complex systems
