Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst (EU Remote), SEAR

Apple seeks a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst to join its SEAR team in Zurich. This remote role focuses on protecting users by translating advanced cyber threat research into engineering solutions across the entire technology stack.

This position sits within a group of security researchers and threat intelligence specialists dedicated to safeguarding user data. The team collaborates across functions to address complex security engineering issues and inform long-term strategic decisions. The core purpose of the role is to turn operational security research and threat insights into concrete engineering choices that impact every layer of the system.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the creation and improvement of security technologies.
• Study advanced cyber actors, their capabilities, and operational techniques.
• Examine how exploits are developed and spread.
• Partner with security researchers to guide the development of engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers to design innovative mitigations for cyber threats while maintaining privacy, usability, and user experience.
• Engage with external partners to support cyber threat intelligence efforts.
• Work remotely with occasional travel requirements.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of the threat intelligence lifecycle and cyber operations.
• Several years of experience in threat research, ideally in a technical leadership capacity.
• Proven ability to analyze complex threat actor campaigns, including infrastructure, malware, and victim endpoints.
• Skill in breaking down complex problems into manageable tasks and driving them to completion.
