SKAN AG seeks a Service & Qualification Technician based in Bern, Lausanne, or Valais to assemble, commission, and maintain laboratory workbenches and cleanroom systems for clients across Switzerland.
This position focuses on the installation, startup, and servicing of advanced laboratory workbenches and cleanroom systems directly at client locations. The technician will operate within demanding laboratory and cleanroom settings to ensure systems meet strict operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission new laboratory and cleanroom systems, primarily within the Bern, Lausanne, and Valais regions.
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and relocation of existing equipment at customer sites.
- Execute room decontamination procedures as needed.
- Conduct qualification processes for cleanrooms, cleanroom technology, and laboratory facilities.
- Provide technical support and consultation to clients operating in laboratory environments throughout Switzerland.
Requirements
- Completion of technical vocational training in fields such as electrical engineering, mechanics, mechatronics, HVAC, or building technology.
- Fluency in German is required.
- A valid driver's license (category B) is mandatory.
- Residence ideally located in the region between Bern, Lausanne, and Valais.
Nice to have
- Several years of experience as a service technician or in technical field service.
- Background in GMP environments, including experience with system calibration and/or qualification.
- Proficiency in French, which is beneficial for assignments in the Lausanne area.
