ServiceNow Product Owner

SUMMIT RECRUITMENT AG seeks a ServiceNow Product Owner to lead the strategic direction and configuration of ITSM and HR modules on-site in Switzerland.

This position focuses on steering the strategic evolution, setup, and ongoing optimization of the ServiceNow platform. The role ensures that the system aligns with business goals through effective roadmap management and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal stakeholders to convert business goals into actionable ServiceNow initiatives and oversee the roadmap for IT Service Management and Human Resources modules.
• Direct the architecture, configuration, customization, and integration efforts for ITSM and HR functionalities.
• Collect business requirements, craft user stories, and order backlog items according to their value to the organization.
• Serve as the primary bridge between technical development teams and end-users across IT, HR, and other departments.
• Execute change management plans, which includes creating documentation and delivering training for users.
• Track key performance indicators and user feedback to identify and apply process improvements.
• Oversee relationships with ServiceNow vendors and assess third-party tools or integrations.

Requirements

• At least four years of experience working as a ServiceNow Product Owner or business analyst, with a specific focus on ITSM and HR modules.
• Solid knowledge of the ITIL framework and standard HR operational processes.

Nice to have

• Holding ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications for ITSM and HR.
• Practical experience applying Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Up-to-date familiarity with the newest ServiceNow features and capabilities.
