ServiceNow Consultants - Technical or Functional

SUMMIT RECRUITMENT AG seeks a mid-level ServiceNow Consultant (technical or functional) in Switzerland. The role focuses on platform implementation, configuration, and stakeholder collaboration.

This position serves as a key advisor for the ServiceNow ecosystem, guiding the company through implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance. The consultant works directly with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into effective platform solutions, ensuring the system delivers maximum value.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units to collect requirements, facilitate workshops, and convert these needs into clear technical specifications.
• Architect and design ServiceNow solutions that support organizational goals, including customizing modules and building applications according to industry best practices.
• Oversee the deployment of ServiceNow modules, handle integrations with other enterprise tools, and manage data migration processes.
• Maintain the platform’s health by troubleshooting errors, optimizing performance, and creating comprehensive technical documentation.
• Deliver training for end-users and administrators, and produce user guides to drive adoption and proficiency.
• Track project schedules, budgets, and resources while coordinating with cross-functional teams and reporting progress to stakeholders.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
• At least three years of practical experience as a ServiceNow Consultant or in a comparable capacity.
• Demonstrated history of implementing and tailoring ServiceNow modules.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including JavaScript, AngularJS, or GlideScript.
• Solid knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
• Fluent proficiency in German and good command of English.
• Deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform architecture.

Nice to have

• Holding all relevant ServiceNow certifications.
• Prior experience in project management.
