Advisory Solution Consultant - Public Sector - German speaking

Servicenow seeks a Senior Advisory Solution Consultant for the Public Sector in Zürich. This hybrid role requires fluent German and English speakers to drive growth through pre-sales expertise and AI-focused solutions.

This position serves as a key member of the Solution Consulting team, partnering closely with Field Sales to accelerate growth within the Swiss Public Sector market. The consultant acts as an expert pre-sales professional, blending deep knowledge of the ServiceNow platform with advanced consultative selling techniques to execute account penetration strategies and support business expansion.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams as a technical and domain authority for clients and partners.
• Conduct discovery sessions to identify client challenges and deliver product demos that align solutions with specific needs.
• Lead initiatives with an AI-first approach, driving the success of AI proofs of value and concept.
• Exchange best practices and reusable assets with fellow Solution Consultants to improve team efficiency.
• Work with the Public Sector group to strengthen and develop customer relationships.
• Monitor competitive landscapes and market differentiation strategies.
• Assist in marketing activities such as executive briefings, conferences, and trade shows.

Requirements

• Experience in integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
• At least seven years of experience in pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering.
• Fluency in both German and English.
• Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise in cloud software solutions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product management, marketing, partners, and professional services.
• Strong territory management skills, including pipeline development and guiding sales execution.
• Ability to tell compelling stories rather than just listing features and functions.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the Swiss Public Sector landscape is highly recommended.
• Proficiency in French is considered a bonus.
