Solution Consultant

Avaloq1 in Zürich, CH, seeks an Executive-level Solution Consultant to support growth in Swiss and European markets. The role involves shaping tailored financial technology solutions, engaging with senior stakeholders, and collaborating across sales, product, and delivery teams in a hybrid work environment.

This role offers an opportunity to contribute to Avaloq1’s expansion in the Swiss and European financial markets by acting as a bridge between client needs and technical solutions. The Solution Consultant will work at the intersection of sales, product, and delivery, helping leading financial institutions address strategic challenges through customized technology offerings.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution consulting throughout the sales cycle, from initial discovery to solution design and handover to delivery teams.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear, feasible, and compelling solution proposals.
• Create and deliver client-facing presentations, demos, and workshops to communicate Avaloq1’s value to senior decision-makers.
• Manage and coordinate RFI/RFP responses, ensuring they are high-quality, consistent, and aligned with client expectations.
• Work with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, Architecture, Pricing, and Delivery to align client needs with Avaloq1’s capabilities.
• Maintain clear documentation and communication of solution scope to ensure transparency from pre-sales through implementation.

Requirements

• Mandatory fluency in German at C1/C2 level.
• Proven experience in Solution Consulting, Pre-Sales, or Sales Engineering, preferably in banking, wealth management, or fintech.
• Strong ability to influence and engage with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives.
• Experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments across different regions.
• Willingness to travel across Europe.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in Financial Services, FinTech, or Consulting industries.
• Technical background in Software Engineering or a related field.
