Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Account Executives to navigate lengthy sales processes, including discovery calls, demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concept phases.
- Engage with Finance, HR, and IT leaders to grasp their workflows, challenges, and strategic goals.
- Present customized demonstrations highlighting improvements in expense tracking, approvals, compliance, and overall financial operations.
- Develop business cases that link the platform's features to tangible results like reduced manual effort, better control, and quicker financial closing.
- Clarify how data from expenses, invoices, and cards integrates with ERP and accounting platforms.
- Discuss technical integration methods, covering ERP connections, HR and payroll systems, APIs, and file exports.
- Facilitate a seamless transition to the implementation team by recording agreed scopes, client needs, and technical decisions.
Requirements
- Five to seven years in solutions consulting, pre-sales, sales engineering, or a comparable customer-facing SaaS role, or background in finance, accounting, or consulting with significant systems exposure.
- Demonstrated success in conducting discovery sessions, delivering presentations, and leading technical discussions with clients.
- Excellent storytelling and presentation abilities, capable of breaking down complex subjects and establishing rapport rapidly.
- Practical understanding of finance and accounting workflows, or a strong drive to learn this area quickly.
- Experience with ERP platforms like NetSuite, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics, plus knowledge of financial data movement between systems.
- A consultative, inquisitive, and client-oriented approach.
- Strong analytical skills focused on process improvement and business impact.
- Ability to thrive in a rapid, changing setting.
- Fluency in both English and German.
