The company is looking for a maintenance engineer to join its semiconductor production team. In this position, you will focus on etching processes, utilizing advanced technology to enhance system performance and maintain smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Keep wet chemical and plasma etch equipment running at high availability levels.
- Diagnose and fix complex machinery, often working alongside original equipment manufacturers.
- Organize and assist with preventive maintenance tasks to boost tool reliability.
- Handle spare parts inventory and participate in equipment upgrades and process enhancements.
- Partner with engineering, R&D, and operations groups to meet production targets.
- Develop and update technical records while tracking data within MES platforms.
- Spot opportunities to improve tools, workflows, and overall operational efficiency.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental guidelines to foster a secure workplace.
Requirements
- Complete technical vocational training in automation, electronics, or a comparable discipline (EFZ or equivalent).
- Possess at least two years of background in equipment maintenance within semiconductor or related sectors.
- Demonstrate strong expertise with plasma tools, such as AMAT or LAM systems.
- Hold a solid grasp of electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, and vacuum systems.
- Thrive in team settings and adapt to shift work schedules.
- Communicate effectively in English.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of the German language is considered an advantage.
