Software QA Engineer 2

IQVIA AG seeks a mid-level Software QA Engineer in Switzerland to execute software tests, define test strategies, and ensure systems meet organizational standards.

The company is looking for a professional to verify software application quality under broad guidance. This position focuses on ensuring that information systems and services align with minimum organizational standards and end-user needs through rigorous testing and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Review business and functional requirements to ensure they are complete, then create valid test cases.
• Perform procedures to guarantee that all information systems products and services satisfy internal standards and user expectations.
• Develop master test plans that outline the overall testing strategy for specific projects.
• Run test scripts to evaluate software, while documenting validation results, defects, and their resolutions.
• Examine test outcomes and review test plans along with supporting execution documentation as needed.
• Conduct risk assessments during test cycles and prepare a lessons learned summary once the project concludes.
• Read, analyze, and interpret project requirements and technical design documents.
• Draft test plans for application functionality and software systems using a prescribed style and format.
• Present information clearly in both written and verbal formats to management, internal customers, or other technical staff.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least three years of relevant experience in quality assurance and testing.
