Solution Architect Customer Touchpoints

PostBus Switzerland seeks a Senior Solution Architect for Customer Touchpoints in Bern to design cloud-native architectures and optimize IT landscapes using microservices and modern integration standards.

The company is looking for a senior professional to lead the integration and optimization of its IT landscape. This role focuses on applying modern architectural paradigms, including cloud computing, agility, and open banking principles, while creating comprehensive architectural concepts that balance functional needs with security, scalability, and performance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design target architectures and solution blueprints for complex, distributed systems.
• Collaborate with project teams and technical experts to validate and develop IT solutions.
• Establish and refine company-wide standards, best practices, and quality reviews for architectural conformity.
• Architect cloud-native microservices, APIs, messaging systems, and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in the design and implementation of IT systems.
• Strong background in microservices, container technologies like Docker or Kubernetes, and modern integration platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to simplify, standardize, and automate IT infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of software development, including service-oriented and event-oriented architecture concepts.
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or ArchiMate.
• Fluent written and spoken proficiency in both German and English.

Nice to have

• Prior experience working within Java or .NET development environments.
