Julius Bär seeks a Structured Lending Specialist in Zürich to manage complex lending transactions and support the GPS division's wealth management goals.
This position sits within the Structured Lending & Solutions team under the Global Products & Solutions division. The role is designed to help shape the future of wealth management by handling intricate financial structures and collaborating across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary expert for structuring complex lending deals while coordinating with global stakeholders.
- Consult with clients to identify and implement tailored lending solutions that meet their specific needs.
- Assist the wider team with deal-specific assignments and additional operational tasks.
- Manage the full lifecycle of transactions, covering origination, structuring, approval processes, and ongoing management.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education, ideally in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or Law.
- Demonstrate experience with collateralized transactions involving equities, fixed income instruments, hedge funds, or similar assets.
- Possess technical proficiency in collateral assessment, including the use of Excel models.
- Have a background in negotiating transaction documentation.
- Show experience working with derivative structures and hedged transactions.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Exhibit excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
Nice to have
- Experience with cross-jurisdictional cases, including an understanding of complex issues such as insider considerations.
- Proficiency in additional languages beyond English.
