The corporate tax team at LGT Capital Partners AG is seeking a hands-on working student to assist with administrative coordination, documentation, and ongoing compliance processes. This position is structured to accommodate academic schedules, functioning as a full-time role during semester breaks and part-time (2–3 days per week) during the term. The company is looking for candidates who can commit to the position for at least 18 months, with a preference for long-term engagement throughout their studies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with administrative and compliance tasks related to Pillar II, including gathering data, maintaining records, and performing analysis.
  • Provide support on Swiss tax subjects such as stamp duty and withholding tax by conducting research, performing calculations, and preparing supporting documents.
  • Research international and Swiss tax regulations and topics.
  • Help manage corporate tax compliance and reporting workflows.
  • Collaborate with internal departments like accounting, finance, and legal, and assist in coordinating with external advisors.
  • Handle general administrative duties, including database maintenance, file updates, and ensuring documentation accuracy.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program or starting a Master’s degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated interest in tax issues, particularly international and Swiss tax matters.
  • Structured and detail-oriented approach, with a readiness to support routine and administrative processes.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

  • Academic focus on taxation or tax accounting.
  • Prior practical experience in tax or finance through internships or working student roles.
  • German language proficiency.
