LGT Capital Partners AG seeks a Tax Manager in Pfäffikon to lead international tax compliance, manage Pillar II implementation, and advise internal teams on global tax matters.

This position sits within the seven-person Corporate Legal & Tax team at the Pfäffikon headquarters. The professional will assist the Head of Tax in handling global tax obligations, ensuring adherence to changing international regulations, and fostering collaboration across finance, legal, and external advisory groups.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and examine tax submissions for corporate income tax, VAT, and Swiss stamp duty.
  • Oversee the rollout and upkeep of Pillar II and OECD Global Minimum Tax rules, handling coordination, record-keeping, and compliance support.
  • Liaise with outside tax consultants, auditors, and Swiss and international tax authorities.
  • Assist the tax, legal, and transfer pricing departments with daily tasks.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for structuring, finance, and accounting groups at international locations.
  • Deliver advice and maintain uniform tax procedures throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • A university degree in Law, Finance, or Economics, preferably with an extra tax credential such as the Swiss Certified Tax Expert or a comparable international qualification.
  • Minimum five years of experience in corporate taxation and compliance reporting, gained in consulting, law firms, or in-house settings.
  • Knowledge of global tax structures and current updates, with familiarity in Pillar II or OECD Global Minimum Tax being beneficial.
  • Strong grasp of Swiss corporate tax laws, with extra exposure to other regions being a plus.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; German proficiency is preferred.
  • A proactive, independent worker who thrives in team environments.

Nice to have

  • Holding an additional tax credential like the Swiss Certified Tax Expert or an equivalent foreign qualification.
  • Background working in a law firm or consulting firm.
  • Hands-on experience with Pillar II or OECD Global Minimum Tax.
  • Exposure to tax regulations in jurisdictions beyond Switzerland.
  • Ability to communicate in German.
