Lonza seeks a Supply Chain Coordinator in Stein AG to manage material flow, SAP data, and shipment logistics while serving as the link between internal teams and external partners.
This position serves as the central hub for supply chain operations, ensuring that manufacturing activities are supported by timely material availability and efficient shipment coordination. The role bridges the gap between customers, suppliers, and internal departments such as logistics, quality assurance, and production to maintain smooth operational flow.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full cycle of material and shipping activities to guarantee that products and components arrive on schedule.
- Handle demand planning tasks and maintain accuracy in SAP master data, including material records and purchase orders.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to synchronize material stock levels and delivery timelines.
- Monitor inbound and outbound freight, tracking delivery metrics and verifying that all shipping documentation is correct.
- Lead efforts to improve supply chain efficiency and streamline processes through continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Demonstrated background in supply chain management, material coordination, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong organizational abilities and a structured approach to planning and execution.
- Ability to work effectively within a team, supported by clear and professional communication skills.
