The company seeks a Supply Chain Planner for Demand Planning to manage project supply chain activities and ensure accurate scheduling in Switzerland. The role requires SAP expertise and strong coordination skills.

The company is looking for a Supply Chain Planner to handle demand planning and execution for customer projects. This position focuses on creating reliable schedules that match business goals and manufacturing needs while prioritizing on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business data into system-based demand plans, verify production capacity across sites, and track financial outcomes against targets.
  • Analyze quotations for lead times and assess factory workload against business needs.
  • Work closely with Commercial, Procurement, Shipping, and Manufacturing departments.
  • Establish supply chain timelines for all components based on project strategy, lead times, and available capacity.
  • Create, modify, and update event schedules, preparing them for kick-off meetings.
  • Monitor major events, track progress, and coordinate with Project Managers and Logistics teams to address deviations or delays.
  • Serve as the primary contact within the Sales & Operations Planning Process for Project Managers, Supply Chain, and Logistics.
  • Oversee factory supplies to maintain a balanced plan that aligns project priorities with manufacturing requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • One to two years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or project planning.
  • Proficient communication skills in English.
  • Advanced skills in SAP, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Analysis), and SAP IBP.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer focus and conflict management skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills, capable of working in interdisciplinary and international settings.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in a technical field.
  • Knowledge of additional languages.
