Accelleron Industries seeks a Supply Chain Quality Manager to lead quality initiatives for high-volume turbocharger parts. The role involves developing quality strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement across global supply chains.
This role focuses on advancing quality excellence throughout the global supply chain for high-volume turbocharger components. It requires shaping and implementing quality assurance processes to enhance supply chain resilience and performance. The candidate will join a team of experts in an international environment dedicated to innovation and excellence, supporting Accelleron’s mission to accelerate sustainability in marine and energy industries through advanced turbocharging and digital solutions.
Responsibilities
- Create and roll out a comprehensive supply chain quality strategy and framework tailored to high-volume manufacturing, including PPAP processes.
- Set and maintain quality standards, procedures, and documentation such as control plans and work instructions.
- Design and oversee quality gates and processes in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
- Lead process validation efforts (IQ, OQ, PQ) to ensure production readiness.
- Work with cross-functional teams including suppliers, quality inspection, logistics, and production to meet quality goals.
- Anticipate and reduce technical risks early in the supply process by coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve part quality.
- Act as the quality lead for high-volume parts, integrating quality standards early and applying lessons learned effectively.
- Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Implement statistical process control and track key quality indicators.
- Promote continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar approaches.
- Oversee non-conformance handling and execute corrective and preventive actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
- Several years of experience in quality engineering within high-volume manufacturing settings.
- Proven experience in process validation and industrialization.
- Solid understanding of quality tools and methods, including APQP, PPAP, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and accountable — able to identify improvement opportunities, take ownership, and deliver measurable results.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across cultures and organizational levels.
- Fluency in both English and German.
- Willingness to travel internationally, up to 10% of the time.
