System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Oversee Ubuntu Linux systems in both data center and cloud VPC environments
• Set up, configure, and maintain Linux servers
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, system operations, and applications
• Deploy monitoring solutions for systems, networks, and performance metrics
• Enhance infrastructure reliability and security through continuous improvements

Requirements

• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems
• Experience with automation and configuration tools such as Ansible and Terraform
• Knowledge of Ethernet/IP networking and associated protocols
• Familiarity with NFS and Ceph storage systems
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes for containerized applications
• Basic knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and key-value databases
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash and Python
• Fundamental understanding of C/C++
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab and Jenkins
