IAMDS Swiss GmbH is looking for a System Administrator / DevOps professional to join their agile team. The role centers on supporting software projects through DevOps and infrastructure work, including conception, architecture, and implementation. The specialist will assist with customer initiatives, enhance internal software solutions, and maintain the company's internal IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Assist the team with software projects, emphasizing DevOps and infrastructure design, architecture, and execution
- Contribute to customer initiatives, enhance proprietary software solutions, and maintain internal IT systems
- Manage ownership of several sub-projects
- Help define working methods and address relevant operational topics
Requirements
- A degree in computer science, a related engineering discipline, or formal IT specialist training
- Hands-on experience in system administration, infrastructure setup, SaaS operations, and strong proficiency with Unix and cloud environments
- Foundational understanding of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and software development practices
- Demonstrated reliability, agile working habits, and strong collaborative skills
Nice to have
- Familiarity with modern platforms and tools including Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, distributed systems, Keycloak, GitLab, Kafka, MQTT, Grafana, Prometheus, and OAuth2
