Michael Page seeks a Talent Development Specialist for a 6-month on-site contract in Geneva. The role focuses on coordinating learning initiatives, managing vendor relationships, and analyzing program effectiveness.
Reporting to the Head of Talent Management, this position is central to the design, coordination, and evaluation of learning and talent development initiatives. The specialist ensures the successful delivery of development programs while enhancing the overall employee learning experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee learning and talent development projects from initial planning through to implementation and final evaluation.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and communication channels with stakeholders.
- Assist in designing and improving learning programs, development journeys, and related educational resources.
- Research, select, and update relevant learning materials for employees, managers, and teams.
- Produce and manage digital learning assets, such as e-learning modules, videos, and interactive content.
- Partner with external learning providers to guarantee the effective delivery of programs and resources.
- Handle administrative and operational tasks related to external vendors, including contracts, purchase orders, procurement requests, and invoice tracking.
- Analyze participation metrics, feedback, and learning data to evaluate program effectiveness and suggest improvements.
- Develop reports and dashboards to share outcomes and key insights with stakeholders.
- Support the delivery of workshops, onboarding sessions, and other learning activities as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Organisational Development, or Instructional Design.
- Demonstrated project management and programme coordination experience.
- Experience designing, curating, and implementing learning content and development initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret learning data and translate insights into actions.
- Experience managing relationships with external suppliers and service providers.
- Ability to work independently while effectively engaging multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Practical, solution-oriented, and collaborative working style.
- Comfortable working with digital learning platforms and technologies.
- High attention to detail and strong operational rigour.
- English: Fluent (C2)
- French: Upper Intermediate to Advanced (B2)
Nice to have
- Experience with Workday Learning or other Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Knowledge of e-learning development tools.
- Exposure to leadership development, career development, or talent management programmes.
- Familiarity with behavioural assessment tools.
