Learning & Development Specialist

EFG International seeks a Learning & Development Specialist in Lugano to manage apprenticeship and internship programs, coordinate global learning initiatives, and support early career talent development within an international HR team.

This position focuses on overseeing the full lifecycle of apprenticeship and internship programs at EFG, ensuring high-quality onboarding and continuous development. The role supports global learning initiatives and operates within a fast-paced, client-oriented environment. The specialist reports to both the Head of Talent Development and the Head of Learning, providing a dual perspective on talent strategy.

Responsibilities

• Design, launch, and refine apprenticeship and internship schemes to meet EFG standards and local regulations.
• Oversee the complete recruitment cycle for Swiss apprentices and global interns, collaborating with line managers and HR partners.
• Organize and lead onboarding and training activities to foster engagement and preparedness among new participants.
• Create reports and surveys to evaluate program success, analyzing data to drive improvements.
• Offer technical assistance for training matters and ensure proper utilization of internal learning platforms.
• Assist in the planning, execution, and communication of specific global learning projects alongside the L&D team.

Requirements

• A university degree in human resources, organizational development, economics, or a related discipline.
• At least three years of experience in early career talent acquisition or development within international corporate HR structures.
• Fluent command of English, French, and Italian.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office applications.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with learning design software such as Articulate.
