Technical Application Manager (f/m/d)

Axpo Tegra AG seeks a Technical Application Manager in Baden to oversee Real Estate and Facility Management software platforms, ensuring their performance, security, and continuous optimization within a hybrid work model.

This position provides technical leadership for the company’s Real Estate and Facility Management software ecosystems. The successful candidate will drive digital transformation efforts by managing the full lifecycle of SaaS and on-premises applications, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with broader IT infrastructure while supporting a collaborative and diverse team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation, administration, and ongoing improvement of key software platforms.
• Handle the complete application lifecycle, including evaluation, installation, upgrades, and release planning for both cloud and local solutions.
• Architect and deploy technical solutions, focusing on integrations with existing IT systems.
• Execute hands-on development of interfaces and data pipelines.
• Track application performance, availability metrics, and security standards.
• Diagnose incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve technical issues directly.
• Act as the primary point of contact for third-level support, coordinating with internal departments and external vendors.
• Create and update technical documentation, integration specs, and internal knowledge bases.
• Partner with business units to address change requests and support digitalization initiatives.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or comparable practical experience.
• At least three years of experience in technical application management for SaaS and on-premises environments.
• Proficiency in solution design, integration strategies, user authentication, provisioning, scripting, and system configuration.
• Strong analytical abilities, practical troubleshooting skills, and effective communication techniques.
• Fluency in both German and English.
