Technical Product Support RF Cable Assembly

HUBER+SUHNER seeks a Technical Product Support specialist for RF cable assemblies in Herisau. The role focuses on manufacturing feasibility, SAP data management, and cross-functional collaboration.

This position supports the industrialization of RF cable products by ensuring technical readiness and reproducibility. The specialist bridges engineering and production, handling everything from initial feasibility checks to final manufacturing cost calculations and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer specifications to determine feasibility for quotes, orders, and engineering changes.
• Develop and update production documentation, including bills of materials, routings, and technical drawings.
• Calculate manufacturing expenses and assist in initiatives aimed at cost reduction.
• Manage SAP master data, including overseeing change management processes.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as Sales, Product Management, R&D, Production, and Logistics.
• Provide technical assistance to production and testing teams, including performing RF measurements.

Requirements

• A technical background, such as experience as a process or industrial specialist.
• Prior work experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Solid understanding of production workflows, supply chain dynamics, and product lifecycle processes.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, with SAP S/4HANA being preferred.
• A structured and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication abilities and strong teamwork skills.
• Fluency in both German and English.
