FIDES Business Partner AG seeks a Technical Requirements Engineer in Zürich to bridge business and IT, ensuring clear, implementable technical specifications for complex payment and connectivity systems.
This position serves as a central link between business units, architecture, development, and operations teams. The primary objective is to build a solid, unambiguous foundation of technical requirements that supports development, integration efforts, and ongoing operational stability within a highly experienced multibank connectivity environment.
Responsibilities
- Gather and organize technical needs from business stakeholders and IT departments
- Convert business objectives into precise technical specifications
- Examine current systems, workflows, and data movements, including legacy setups
- Produce and upkeep well-structured documentation
- Specify interface details, data structures, and integration needs
- Work closely with architecture, development, operations, and external partners
- Maintain full traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Assist in prioritizing and evaluating incoming requirements
- Spot potential dependencies, risks, and areas for improvement
- Lead workshops and sessions to align stakeholders
- Guarantee the quality, completeness, and consistency of all requirements
- Assist with testing, acceptance procedures, and handover to operations
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field
- Proven experience in requirements engineering within complex IT settings
- Background in integration and middleware technologies
- Solid grasp of IT architectures, system landscapes, and data flows
- Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, or comparable platforms
- Knowledge of agile and/or traditional project methodologies
