The company is seeking a Requirements Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in Seebach. The position involves managing requirements for ICT developments, ensuring traceability, and collaborating with project management and customers.

This role focuses on overseeing the requirements management lifecycle, spanning from initial design through to verification and validation. The engineer will handle both new developments and modifications to existing functions within the information and communication technology (ICT) sector.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, organize, and maintain complex system and subsystem requirements, ensuring they are verifiable and continuously tracked using Spira.
  • Draft user stories, use cases, and technical specifications based on established methodologies.
  • Contribute to Change Control Board activities and independently conduct risk and cyber-security assessments.
  • Participate in reviews and functional testing while actively improving requirements engineering methods, processes, and tools.
  • Provide technical guidance to project management regarding feasibility studies, normative evaluations, and effort estimations.

Requirements

  • A completed technical degree (FH/Uni/ETH) and preferably additional training in requirements and cyber-security engineering.
  • Several years of professional experience in requirements engineering within a complex ICT environment, with an expectation to learn more about network technology.
  • Strong understanding of hazard and risk analysis practices aligned with common industry standards.
  • A structured and analytical work style, coupled with strong communication skills for interfacing with development teams, project management, and clients.

Nice to have

  • Additional training or certification in requirements and cyber-security engineering.
