ABB seeks a Technical Sales Support Engineer in Frauenfeld to bridge technical expertise with customer needs within the Machine Automation Division.
This position operates within the Machine Automation Division in Switzerland and reports directly to the Sales Manager. The primary purpose of the role is to apply deep technical knowledge at the customer interface, ensuring that sales solutions are both technically robust and aligned with client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct motor sizing, concept development, and topology design to create reliable sales solutions.
- Draft and manage technical quotations with precision and speed.
- Maintain sales demonstration equipment and assist the order management team with technical queries.
- Participate in direct customer interactions to discuss technical details and develop solutions.
Requirements
- At least two years of professional experience in a technical role involving customer interaction.
- Strong understanding of drive technology and automation systems.
- A completed degree from a University of Applied Sciences (FH) or similar higher education institution in Automation, Robotics, or a related discipline.
- Native-level proficiency in German.
- Fluent written and spoken English skills.
- Competence in using Microsoft Office applications.
