Test Architect

QACube AG in Zürich seeks a Senior Test Architect for a hybrid, full-time role. The position involves driving digital transformation and quality assurance innovation for global clients across finance, insurance, and telco sectors.

This role focuses on accelerating innovation through quality assurance and software testing, supporting digital transformations and platform innovation for global enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on test consulting and automation for clients in finance, insurance, telecom, and other industries
• Implement value-focused improvements to clients’ test processes using diverse solutions
• Plan and execute maturity assessments for clients’ QA processes
• Develop and deliver training sessions for client teams on new QA concepts and process changes
• Identify and propose solutions that enhance clients’ QA maturity and software delivery capabilities
• Work entrepreneurially within an agile environment, adapting quickly to client needs
• Contribute to the ongoing development of Sixsentix’s open-source testing frameworks
• Share expertise and collaborate within the Sixsentix test consulting community

Requirements

• Ability to develop comprehensive test strategies, manage test data and environments, and identify risks
• Strong communication skills to translate client business needs into clear QA plans
• Proficiency in coding with Java, C#, JavaScript, or Python
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Appium
• Familiarity with tools including X-Ray for test management, Postman for API testing, Tricentis Tosca, and UIPath
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or TeamCity
• Practical experience in evaluating process maturity and working with clients to implement improvement plans
• Track record of creating and presenting business case simulations to stakeholders
• Understanding of organizational change management and how to support teams in adopting new practices
