Trade Compliance Process & Data Expert

Roger Dubuis seeks a Trade Compliance Process & Data Expert in Villars-sur-Glane to oversee data quality, optimize global trade processes, and ensure regulatory adherence within the luxury watch sector.

The Group Product & Trade Compliance department relies on this position to act as a control tower for compliance effectiveness. The expert safeguards the brand against supply chain disruptions and reputational risks by monitoring key performance indicators, ensuring high data quality, and providing specialized guidance on corporate trade compliance processes to internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Formalize and optimize global trade compliance procedures, with a focus on data management guidelines.
• Consult and support internal stakeholders regarding trade compliance data structures and operational processes.
• Deliver training on processes and system-driven solutions to enhance team capabilities.
• Evaluate support needs for Trade Compliance implementations and define necessary enhancements.
• Monitor Trade Compliance KPIs and function as the central Data Quality Control Tower.
• Manage data stewardship for information contributed by various stakeholders under Data Governance protocols.
• Execute root cause analysis and lead continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Provide expertise in PTC data management and process design for relevant projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in Trade Compliance within an international setting.
• Strong familiarity with Supply Chain and Trade regulatory domains, including HS Commodity Codes, regulatory documentation, policy interpretation, and international logistics workflows.
• Highly meticulous with a strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable navigating digital and IT system logic and software user interfaces.
• Proficient in Excel, including data manipulation, exports, filters, XLOOKUP, and pivot tables.
• Fluent command of the French language.
• Full professional proficiency in English to interact daily with multicultural stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Background in Business Analysis, Process Management, or Project Management.
• Solid understanding of SAP and SAP GTS platforms.
• Ability to speak Italian and/or German.
