Roger Dubuis seeks a Product & Trade Compliance Specialist in Schaffhausen to manage regulatory adherence, customs procedures, and risk mitigation for global logistics operations.

The company is looking for a specialist to support its Global Logistics, Product & Trade Compliance Department. This position focuses on navigating the complex and changing global regulatory landscape to ensure full compliance, mitigate operational and financial risks, and uphold the organization's robust compliance framework.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee trade compliance, customs procedures, preferential origin, Swiss Made status, product compliance, and environmental regulations.
  • Lead and participate in regulatory projects to ensure compliance across various product categories.
  • Manage preferential origin status within GTS SAP E4 Hana and handle long-term supplier declaration runs in SAP.
  • Perform internal risk analyses, prepare reports, and identify emerging risks.
  • Monitor regulatory news and communicate critical updates to stakeholders through various channels.
  • Serve as the primary contact for ad-hoc questions and provide project assistance on all Product and Trade Compliance matters.
  • Increase internal awareness of regulatory topics by creating training materials and informational updates.

Requirements

  • A degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or a commercial apprenticeship with additional education and practical experience.
  • Initial professional experience in Trade Compliance, Customs, Import/Export, Logistics, or a related area.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
  • A structured and reliable work style, supported by strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • The capacity to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and maintain a solution-oriented mindset with attention to detail.

Nice to have

  • Experience working in an international business environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory or compliance-related subjects.
  • A basic understanding of Customs, Preferential Origin, Export Control, or Trade Compliance.
  • Experience using SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
  • An analytical mindset and a willingness to work with data and regulations.
