Windows System Engineer

SUMMIT RECRUITMENT AG seeks a Windows System Engineer in Luzern to manage backend infrastructure and support innovative datacenter projects.

This position is central to the company's innovative initiatives in Datacenter and Backend Systems. The engineer will be responsible for engineering and overseeing a large-scale backend infrastructure comprising more than 800 virtual servers.

Responsibilities

• Deploy new applications throughout the organization while maintaining high quality standards and stable server performance.
• Deliver second and third-level technical support to internal staff.
• Guarantee the reliable operation and optimal performance of the Windows Server environment.
• Create and upkeep automation scripts using PowerShell and JavaScript to improve system efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of hands-on experience in Datacenter and Backend Systems.
• Fluent command of both German and English in written and spoken forms.
• Availability to participate in on-call rotations.

Nice to have

• A higher education degree from a University of Applied Sciences (FH) or similar institution (HF).
