Synova seeks a bilingual After Sales Service Engineer to install, commission, and maintain Laser MicroJet® systems across Europe and globally, supporting high-tech industries with hybrid flexibility.
As the inventor of the patented Laser MicroJet® technology, Synova requires a skilled engineer to handle the installation and commissioning of advanced multi-axis machines for clients in Europe and worldwide. This position ensures that customers receive immediate support, training, and maintenance for their high-precision equipment.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission new 3–5 axis machines at customer sites across Europe and internationally.
- Provide rapid response to service and maintenance requests via phone, email, or remote access.
- Conduct training sessions for internal teams and external customers.
- Work within cleanroom or controlled environments when necessary.
- Identify recurring technical issues and escalate them appropriately.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction through efficient problem resolution.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in field service roles.
- Technical degree or background in electronics or automation, with familiarity in the machine tool sector.
- Fluency in both French and English.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Swiss nationality or a valid Swiss work permit.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to customer locations.
