AI Engagement Leader (Delivery & Sales)

Artifactsa, a Swiss AI consulting firm, seeks a Senior AI Engagement Leader to drive delivery and business development for German- and French-speaking clients. The role requires extensive experience in AI project leadership, business development, and agile delivery, with a focus on scaling data science solutions.

As the company grows from its founding trio, it seeks a Swiss-based AI Engagement Leader to lead delivery and business development for German- and French-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders to define data science and AI solutions that address business challenges and deliver high-impact results.
• Build strong, trusted relationships across clients, internal teams, and partners to support business expansion and new client acquisition.
• Lead agile delivery teams, taking full accountability for project outcomes and results.
• Monitor project progress, manage key activities, resolve issues, and suggest improvements to ensure successful delivery.
• Provide regular updates to senior management and project leads on delivery status, outcomes, timelines, and project health.
• Collaborate with leadership and technical teams to understand business problems and define both business and technical solutions, driving decision-making.
• Offer feedback to improve delivery quality and ensure alignment with project scope and client expectations.
• Proactively address business and project issues, handling escalations appropriately.
• Identify new business opportunities through project expansions or direct business development efforts.
• Lead the definition of key requirements, use cases, and storylines to ensure solutions are developed and tested for operational readiness and customer needs.
• Develop and deliver compelling presentations for client, team, and management interactions.
• Train and guide other consultants in project execution and company practices.
• Mentor and coach team members to support their growth and development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in business administration, business information, or engineering.
• 7+ years of experience successfully leading analytics projects.
• 5+ years in business development within Data Science and AI fields.
• 5+ years of consulting experience, including successful technology implementations and defining business, governance, and operating models.
• 5+ years of project delivery experience as a Scrum Master, with certification (CSM ScrumAlliance or SAFe).
• Strong interest in Advanced Analytics, AI, Data Science, and Computer Science.
• Experience in deploying analytics projects into production and scaling them, with knowledge of DevOps, MLOps, and DataOps practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and either German or French.
• Experience working with virtual, distributed teams.
• Willingness to travel and work with a consultant’s mindset.
• Valid work permit for Switzerland.
• Intent to start the role within 90–120 days of application.
