AI Operations Lead

Visium, based in Lausanne, seeks a Senior AI Operations Lead to shape and run its internal AI operations. This role focuses on building agentic workflows, driving adoption, and measuring impact across the company, with a flexible work model and competitive benefits.

As AI Operations Lead at Visium, you will own the company’s internal AI operations, turning strategic vision into a functional, measurable system. You’ll design tooling, enable teams, automate workflows, and track results — all to make Visium more efficient and AI-native. This is an internal role focused on improving how the company works, not client delivery.

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute Visium’s internal AI strategy with leadership, managing it from vision to operational reality.
• Design, build, and deploy agentic workflows and automations to improve team efficiency across the company.
• Promote adoption by creating shared resources, reference setups, and a continuous learning system for staff.
• Clearly communicate policies and ways of working, ensuring they are understood and embraced by teams.
• Track adoption and productivity metrics, report ROI to leadership, and use data to refine or retire initiatives.
• Make practical decisions on building versus buying tools, favoring simple, managed solutions over complex over-engineering.

Requirements

• You are deeply passionate about AI, actively experimenting with models and agent frameworks, and staying current with AI developments.
• You have hands-on experience coding with AI agents and running real agentic workflows, such as Cowork-style systems.
• You run your own AI agents — like OpenClaw or Hermes — at home, demonstrating personal engagement with the technology.
• You consider how AI affects human work and life, not just output or performance metrics.
• You prioritize making colleagues more capable and satisfied, not just faster.
• You have experience managing change through technology or AI, understanding that people are the biggest challenge.
• You approach problems with a solution-focused mindset, identifying root causes before implementing fixes.
• You value organized, centralized information and maintain your own work in a clear, structured way.
• You are security-conscious and experienced with cloud platforms and licensing models.
• You are confident in your views but enjoy collaborating and planning openly with others.
• You work independently, able to take initiative and deliver results with minimal oversight.
• You have a strong technical foundation in software or AI engineering, with experience building and shipping systems.
• You are hands-on with agentic AI, having built and run agent-based workflows in practice.
• You understand the security risks and common pitfalls in agentic AI systems.
• You can design and build automation workflows, MCP servers, and clean internal data layers for agents to interact with.
• You are fluent in cloud environments and licensing, able to reason about platforms, access, privacy, and costs.
• You have a proven ability to drive adoption of new tools or processes, communicate policies clearly, and train both technical and non-technical staff.
• You have a product and UX mindset, preferring simple, managed solutions over over-engineered ones, and know when to build versus buy.
• You can own a project independently, manage your own delivery, and work with light supervision.
• You are fluent in English.
