Application Consultant SAP & PLM 80-100%

SKAN AG seeks an Application Consultant for SAP & PLM in Allschwil. The role involves supporting PLM solutions, implementing SAP S/4HANA integrations, and providing technical expertise in .NET and SQL environments.

The company is looking for a specialist to act as the main contact for project delivery and second-level support regarding PLM systems. This position focuses on the functional and technical execution of software enhancements within SAP S/4HANA and PRO.FILE, ensuring these tools operate effectively to support product lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and enhancements for systems integrated with SAP that handle product lifecycle data.
• Administer the PRO.FILE 10 application and ensure its smooth operation.
• Connect these specialized systems with SAP ERP and advise on related SAP module configurations.
• Drive innovation initiatives, system expansions, and the deployment of new applications.
• Oversee support operations and lead change management efforts.
• Conduct training sessions ranging from basic to advanced levels for staff members.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and partners involved in support and project tasks.

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a comparable field.
• Multiple years of hands-on experience in application engineering.
• Deep expertise in .NET Framework 4.x, C#, VB.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, Entity Framework, XML, LINQ, and Visual Studio 2017.
• Ability to use VBA within Microsoft Office 2010.
• Familiarity with CAD tools, specifically SOLIDWORKS 2019 or newer versions.
• Professional fluency in both German and English.
• A problem-solving approach with experience in agile frameworks like Scrum.

Nice to have

• Understanding of SAP systems, including standard connectors.
• Prior experience working with PRO.FILE 10 by Procad.
