Senior Technical Consultant SAP Integration

Sika Europe Management AG seeks a Senior Technical Consultant for SAP Integration in Zurich. The role focuses on designing complex integration architectures, ensuring system stability, and supporting the company's cloud adoption journey.

Positioned within the SAP Technology team in Zurich, this senior role reports directly to the SAP Integration lead. The primary purpose is to drive the development and management of sophisticated integration projects, ensuring they meet high standards for performance, security, and stability while facilitating Sika's transition toward cloud-based integration solutions.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain integration frameworks utilizing SAP Integration Suite, SAP PO/PI, API Management, and associated tools.
• Partner with functional and technical stakeholders to clarify integration needs and guarantee consistent end-to-end solutions.
• Oversee the daily operation of integration interfaces, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues promptly.
• Champion the implementation of integration best practices, security protocols, and performance optimization strategies.
• Provide technical mentorship and code reviews to support the growth and output of fellow team members.
• Assist project delivery teams with integration tasks across the entire system development lifecycle.
• Keep abreast of emerging SAP integration technologies and industry trends to inform best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of eight years of professional experience working with SAP integration technologies.
• Deep practical expertise in SAP Integration Suite (including Cloud Integration and API Management), User-Defined Functions (UDFs), Java or Groovy scripting, SAP PI/PO, OData, REST, SOAP APIs, BTP, event-driven architecture, IDoc, RFC, ALE, and EDI.
• Strong analytical abilities to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Fluent proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Spanish and German languages.
• Holding an SAP certification in Integration Suite or a comparable credential.
• Prior experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
