BRUSA HyPower AG seeks an Application Engineer to manage customer integration, validation, and technical support for power electronics products in Switzerland.
This position serves as the primary technical liaison between BRUSA HyPower AG and its clients. The engineer is responsible for guiding customers through the integration and validation phases of BRUSA's power electronics solutions, ensuring smooth project execution and resolving technical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate customer integration and validation processes for On-Board Chargers (OBC), Battery DC-DC Converters (BDC), and Grid Interface Converters (GIC).
- Serve as the main technical contact for clients, assisting with project discussions, commissioning tasks, and troubleshooting issues.
- Conduct system-level debugging across hardware, software, and communication layers, including specific analysis of CAN bus data.
- Organize and carry out laboratory and vehicle-level testing to verify product reliability and performance.
- Draft technical reports, validation documentation, and application notes, prioritizing high standards of quality and traceability.
- Work closely with Software, System, and Hardware Engineering departments to drive continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
- Experience in system-level debugging involving hardware, software, and communication interfaces.
- Proficiency in CAN analysis.
- Ability to perform validation activities at both laboratory and vehicle levels.
