Arcondis AG seeks a Junior Application Support Specialist to provide Level 2 support for critical healthcare applications within its Managed Services team.
This position sits within the Managed Services team, where the primary objective is to ensure the stability and performance of business-critical applications. The specialist will deliver Level 2 support, acting as a key link between technical operations and business continuity for specialized systems.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Level 2 technical support for essential applications, including CAQ, MES, LMS, and QMS.
- Develop expertise in application ownership, covering troubleshooting, implementation, maintenance, and system upgrades.
- Collaborate with senior team members and external vendors to maintain high service standards and operational continuity.
- Support project deliveries and enhancements while adhering to strict Computer System Validation (CSV) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP) protocols.
- Manage incidents, fulfill service requests, resolve problems, and handle system administration and change management tasks.
- Partner with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth service delivery and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- A university degree in IT or a closely related discipline.
- Foundational technical knowledge in at least one area: Operating Systems, Databases (SQL), Middleware, Cloud infrastructure, Networking, or Storage & Backup.
- Strong analytical abilities and a proactive problem-solving approach.
- A genuine motivation to learn and develop within a technical team setting.
- Excellent communication skills with full fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have
- Practical familiarity with Windows, Linux, SQL Server, Oracle DB, Azure, PHP, or C#.
- Understanding of ITSM processes and tools, such as ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of SDLC frameworks and Computer System Validation (CSV).
- Experience with documentation in GxP or Agile environments.
