Audit Trainee | 100% | RSM Switzerland

RSM Switzerland SA is hiring a full-time Audit Trainee in Geneva or Lausanne, Switzerland. The role involves supporting client audits under supervision, gaining experience in IFRS and statutory audits, and contributing to special reviews while developing knowledge of RSM’s audit methods and culture.

This junior-level position supports the execution of client audits under the guidance of managers and partners. The trainee will assist with statutory and IFRS-compliant audits, contribute to special legal reviews, and learn RSM’s audit methodology and culture. The role also involves representing RSM’s values as a brand ambassador.

Responsibilities

• Support client audit activities under the supervision of managers and partners.
• Assist with ordinary and limited statutory audits, as well as audits following IFRS standards.
• Contribute to special legal reviews and related reports.
• Gain familiarity with RSM’s audit methodology, tools, and processes.
• Develop understanding of RSM’s culture, team dynamics, and operational approach.
• Represent RSM’s values and act as a brand ambassador.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, finance, accounting, controlling, or audit.
• Solid knowledge of accounting and auditing principles.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with attention to detail.
• Ability to solve problems and think critically.
• Flexibility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Fluent in French and English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of German is an advantage.
