Exeon seeks a Back-Office & Accounting Specialist for a temporary maternity cover in Zürich. This mid-level hybrid role manages financial administration, bookkeeping, and payroll while supporting the Operations team.
This temporary position acts as the financial backbone for the company, reporting to the COO and working closely with the Senior Financial Advisor. The specialist ensures seamless accounting operations and supports the sales workflow from order placement through to final invoicing.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming invoices, e-banking transactions, monthly reporting, and company credit cards.
- Conduct bookkeeping for accounts payable and receivable, and prepare quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Draft contracts and amendments using templates, manage signature workflows, and process employee expenses.
- Coordinate with customer-facing teams to process incoming orders and generate invoices.
- Handle payroll accounting tasks.
- Provide general administrative support as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience with standard bookings and preparing quarterly financial statements.
- Familiarity with accounting software like Bexio and payroll tools such as Abacus or similar systems.
- Several years of experience in a similar position.
- Completed apprenticeship (KV or equivalent) and/or a degree from a university of applied sciences.
- Fluent German and solid business English.
