Mid-level Boutique Service Watchmaker at Richemont's new Geneva flagship boutique (opening early 2027). Responsible for complete mechanical watch servicing, client interactions, and workshop management while upholding A. Lange & Söhne standards.

This position supports the manufacturing value chain by delivering full servicing for standard movements and watch cases within Richemont's upcoming Geneva flagship boutique. Reporting to Regional Customer Service and operating within the Lange community, the watchmaker will be a core team member ensuring timepieces are maintained to generational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Execute full servicing procedures in strict compliance with A. Lange & Söhne technical and quality guidelines.
  • Perform authorized overhauls and repairs on standard calibers, including movement disassembly/assembly, regulation, encasing, error analysis, and case polishing.
  • Deliver clear diagnostic assessments and service explanations to boutique staff.
  • Handle immediate strap, bracelet, and buckle replacements on-site.
  • Maintain workshop compliance with health and safety protocols and prepare for audits.
  • Oversee inventory management for workshop tools and spare parts per brand and Group directives.
  • Record customer service data accurately in SAP and internal manufacturing platforms.
  • Address client complaints and recurring issues with the boutique team, providing timely reports to prevent future occurrences.
  • Represent the brand at regional events, demonstrating watchmaking expertise and craftsmanship insights.
  • Keep current with technical updates, new product releases, and service policy revisions.
  • Foster strong collaboration with boutique staff, adapting flexibly to support client needs and daily operations.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training with above-average technical proficiency in mechanical watch production, assembly, and regulation.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently operate systems such as SAP and ERP platforms.
  • Highly motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and independence.
  • Proactive, sociable, and positive attitude; proven team player.
  • Empathy and communication skills for engaging client conversations.
