Business Analyst - Process Excellence

Bank J Safra Sarasin seeks a Business Analyst for Process Excellence in Geneva. The role focuses on mapping banking processes, driving transformation, and analyzing data using SQL, Python, and JavaScript.

Positioned within the Process Excellence department, this role aims to design more efficient ways of working and lead enterprise-wide transformation efforts. The analyst will bridge business and technology teams to implement systemic improvements across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document end-to-end banking workflows to pinpoint inefficiencies, risks, and areas for enhancement.
• Collect and interpret business needs from stakeholders across various departments.
• Lead process improvement projects in partnership with business owners.
• Create business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and ROI models to justify change initiatives.
• Organize and facilitate workshops with cross-functional teams.
• Produce process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training resources.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and improvement results.
• Assist in the deployment of new systems, tools, or regulatory updates by connecting business and technical teams.

Requirements

• A university degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Business, or Finance.
• At least three years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking, financial services, or consulting within Switzerland.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and JavaScript.
• Fluency in English and either French or German.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI and workflow automation tools.
• Fluency in additional languages.
