Business Development Analyst

Sportradar seeks a Junior Business Development Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract to support revenue optimization and the commercial integration of new assets during a maternity leave period.

This position is embedded within a strategic, high-impact business unit at Sportradar. The primary objective is to drive revenue growth by commercializing new business initiatives and integrating fresh assets into the existing commercial framework. The analyst will coordinate large-scale projects across internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial integration of holistic strategic projects, specific content assets, or new products into the current business structure.
• Assist in developing and executing sales strategies that align with global market trends and corporate goals to foster sustainable revenue growth.
• Provide recommendations on selecting appropriate business models based on specific opportunities and prevailing market conditions.
• Promote the use of analytical sales processes and leverage Business Intelligence data to identify upsell, cross-sell, and bundling opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations and the Data Office to enhance data quality standards.
• Develop comprehensive business plans for new content and products, accounting for direct revenues, secondary revenues, and halo effects.
• Design a value-creation-based proposal structure to effectively demonstrate the benefits of Sportradar’s offerings to customers.
• Foster close collaboration with internal teams, including sales, marketing, finance, legal, and operations, to align business development efforts with broader strategic objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical capabilities to interpret complex data and present findings clearly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent proficiency in English.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with a particular emphasis on Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Hands-on approach to tasks.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial analysis, reporting, or data analytics.
• Knowledge of other European languages.
• Familiarity with Power BI.
