Business Process & Client onboarding Officer

Mirabaud in Geneva seeks an Entry Level Business Process & Client Onboarding Officer to manage client accounts, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize banking processes.

This position focuses on the daily production and review of central files within the banking sector. The role is designed for candidates with prior experience in banking, particularly those familiar with central file operations, compliance frameworks, or regulatory projects, to support efficient client onboarding and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Participate in reviewing and enhancing existing operational workflows.
• Examine account opening documents to verify adherence to CDB, AMLA, AMLO-FINMA, QI-FATCA, and CRS regulations.
• Manage the creation, maintenance, and termination of client profiles in the core banking platform.
• Provide guidance and support to the Front Office team.
• Conduct necessary legal research.
• Prepare certificates and reference letters in coordination with the Legal Department.
• Process and resolve name screening alerts.
• Digitize and store relevant documentation.

Requirements

• Hold a university degree or an equivalent qualification.
• Possess a minimum of four years of professional experience working within a Swiss bank.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency with banking IT systems and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Show solid project management capabilities, especially regarding central file systems and process optimization initiatives.
• Be fluent in both French and English.

Nice to have

• Interest in data analysis, with skills in VBA, Python, or advanced macro usage.
