Business Analyst - Process Excellence

J. Safra Sarasin seeks a Business Analyst for Process Excellence to map banking workflows, drive transformation, and analyze performance metrics in an onsite role in Switzerland.

Positioned within the Process Excellence department, this role is dedicated to designing more efficient ways of working and leading enterprise-wide transformation efforts across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document end-to-end banking workflows to pinpoint inefficiencies, risks, and areas for enhancement.
• Collect and interpret business needs from stakeholders across various departments involved in the processes.
• Lead process improvement projects in partnership with business owners.
• Create business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and ROI models to justify change initiatives.
• Organize and facilitate workshops and working groups with cross-functional teams.
• Produce process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training resources.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and the results of improvement efforts.
• Assist in the implementation of new systems, tools, or regulatory updates by connecting business and technology teams.

Requirements

• A university degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• At least three years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within banking, financial services, or consulting in Switzerland.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and JavaScript.
• Fluency in English and either French or German.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI and workflow automation tools.
• Fluency in additional languages.
