Cross-Border Business Expert

J. Safra Sarasin seeks a Cross-Border Business Expert to strengthen its compliance framework and support front-office units with regulatory guidance and training.

This position is designed to bolster the Bank’s capabilities in cross-border operations. The incumbent will maintain and refine the existing cross-border framework while providing direct, hands-on support to internal stakeholders and front-office teams to ensure regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities

• Advise front-office units and internal stakeholders on daily cross-border compliance issues.
• Perform regular market reviews and prepare analytical reports for management.
• Develop and update cross-border country manuals and deliver training sessions to staff.
• Track legal and regulatory changes and communicate relevant updates to the business.
• Enhance the cross-border framework by updating policies, procedures, and controls.
• Serve as a senior subject matter expert for cross-border business projects.
• Assist in implementing cross-border principles across Swiss and international entities.
• Support internal and external audit processes related to cross-border activities.

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration or Law, or equivalent banking education.
• 3 to 5 years of practical experience in cross-border regulation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent command of English.

• Fluency in German and/or French.
