Cross Border Manager (80-100%)

Lombard Odier IM seeks a Senior Cross Border Manager in Geneva to coordinate risk management for Private Clients, ensuring regulatory compliance and robust control frameworks.

This position functions as the central hub for cross-border risk expertise within the Private Clients Business and serves as the deputy to the Head of Cross Border under the COO function. The incumbent is responsible for monitoring regulatory changes, maintaining control frameworks, and acting as the primary liaison for cross-border inquiries across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and report cross-border risks via established governance channels.
• Maintain a strong first line of defense control framework with clear escalation paths.
• Create, deploy, and improve cross-border controls, procedures, and monitoring mechanisms.
• Standardize processes to ensure consistency across different markets and teams.
• Keep documentation, guidelines, and internal manuals accurate and aligned with company policies.
• Lead or support strategic projects focused on risk management, documentation harmonization, and operational efficiency.
• Act as the main contact point for all cross-border related questions from stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Central Business Risk Managers to streamline and strengthen the monitoring framework.
• Foster a risk-aware culture by providing expert guidance and practical solutions.

Requirements

• Over seven years of experience in banking or finance, specifically in risk, compliance, or audit roles.
• Deep understanding of regulatory practices and risk management principles.
• Fluent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Must be domiciled in Switzerland.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications.

Nice to have

• Fluency in French or German.
