International Compliance Risk Manager

Richemont seeks a Senior International Compliance Risk Manager in Meyrin, CH, to lead the Maison's compliance framework and support sustainability finance initiatives.

This position is dedicated to strengthening adherence to legal and regulatory standards within the Maison Compliance Risk Framework. Reporting to the Cartier International Head of Risk and Compliance, the role focuses on two primary missions: defining and leading the overall compliance risk strategy, and serving as the Finance Sustainability Lead for the Cartier Sustainability team.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive governance structure for Compliance Risk Management, ensuring active engagement with key stakeholders.
• Coordinate the Risk Network by developing strategies for communication, consultation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Deliver training programs to stakeholders to facilitate the successful adoption of the Internal Risk Management (IRM) tool.
• Assess Compliance and Regulatory risks in collaboration with subject matter experts.
• Identify existing controls and create new action plans to mitigate identified risks.
• Establish continuous monitoring processes to oversee the implementation of Compliance Risk Management strategies.
• Communicate and coordinate with Group Compliance to ensure alignment of vision and strategy.
• Maintain the Group IRM tool with relevant identified risks, actions, and outcomes.
• Develop Key Risk Indicators (KRI) and establish regular reporting.
• Support the non-financial reporting process by assisting with financial data collection and analysis.
• Respond to regular Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) certification and monitoring audits.
• Integrate RJC standards into Cartier compliance process and control design.
• Contribute to the annual ISO 20121 certification for all Compliance-related matters.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Compliance and Risk Management functions, or in Consulting activities.
• Master’s Degree in Business School, in Finance or in Law.
• Solid understanding of Regulatory and Compliance requirements, and Internal Control frameworks.
• Strong history of effectively implementing and managing Risk Management frameworks.
• Fluent in multiple languages including mandatory spoken and written English.
